With ForceCalc Standard, one can quickly and efficiently calculate the
dates with regard to
- the G-stage,
- cooling period,
- greenhouse start and
- end of harvest.
Only the particular variety needs to be selected from
a list of over 400 varieties and after subsequently
selecting a date like the G-stage date, the program
instantly presents the corresponding dates and periods
with regard to the cooling and greenhouse periods.
Whichever date is selected out of the 4 dates,
ForceCalc automatically calculates the corresponding
other 3 and the periods. The graphical presentation with
timebars offers a direct impression of the time-schedule
to be applied and may be printed as well in order to
produce labels for boxes or trays.
The variety data are obtained from the dutch DLV (Dienst
LandbouwVoorlichting = Agricultural Information Service)
and the dutch LBO (Laboratorium voor BloembollenOnderzoek
= Laboratory for Flower bulb research). You can modify
and add your own variety data to the database if desired.
The program is available in both a dutch and an
english language version and is very user-friendly.
Installing and operating ForceCalc requires a minimum of
